Welcome to 40 Days of Worship - our Lent reflection for 2022.
Each day has a different song selected by someone in the congregation, a Bible verse and a thought that explains why the song is important to them or how it links to Lent and Easter.
You can access it in a couple of different ways:
Option 1 - Download the entire booklet from the first blog post and follow it through on the PDF file.
Option 2 - Each day the song, verse and thought will appear (late afternoon the day before) so that you can just focus on that day's song.  This will also allow you to comment any thoughts that come to you that you think would be helpful for others to also know.
Either way, we hope and pray that this shared journey through Lent will help us to worship our God more in every way.

Day 30 - 31st March: We plough the fields

Matthew 6:26-28
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? Look at the wildflowers in the field. See how they grow. They don’t work or make clothes for themselves.

Jenny’s choice reminds us of who provides us with everything we have.  Which is apt for a song during Lent when Jesus relied on God for his strength and answers to the temptation thrown his way.
In the song we’re then reminded of the creation and how it is God who creates both big and small for us.
The chorus and the final verse then point us to thank God and praise Him for everything that has been provided for us.
So today look out of your window and notice what God has provided you with.  Praise and thank Him for what you can see and hear and what He draws to your attention.
